Our Story
We are a family run business and have a history of van conversions stretching back to the late 80s. My first van was a 1980 T25 which started life as a carpenter’s van. I converted it to a day van/2 berth camper and whilst on our first holiday in it I was asked if it was for sale and a sale was agreed (we continued the holiday in a hire car!) – our first company Moto-camp was born.
We have quietly been converting vans ever since, mainly VW’s but not restricted to them – even a few boats have had our magic touch.
In 2007 we changed our name to Concept Campers where we focused on converting VW T5s offering a bespoke package, taking the base van through to the customer’s own vision. Every part of the conversion was made in house from pop top to kitchen to rock and roll bed.
More recently we started to look in a different direction but still within the campervan industry. We have always considered ourselves to be forward thinking within the campervan community and this is where we started looking at what our customers wanted from their vans; so Vandayz was formed to give our customers both the much coveted U shaped set up along with the practicalities of the kombi van with a few other great features all wrapped up in one system. We will continue to refine it and add even more accessories and a couple of new products never seen before to really enhance your van.
